A group of nearly thirty volunteers from the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland and the National Security Office went to Głuchołazy to help the residents of this city to eliminate the consequences of the flood, the Chancellery of the President reported. They are carrying with them the equipment necessary for cleaning work, including: dehumidifiers.
President Andrzej Duda visited the cities affected by the flood, including: Lądek-Zdrój and Głuchołazy. Among other things, he appealed to dry flooded buildings as soon as possible.
On Friday evening, the presidential office announced that volunteers will bring equipment needed for cleaning operations, including: dehumidifiers.
The CPRP also recalled Duda’s statement in which he said that the Chancellery had allocated more than PLN 3 million and made it available to the Minister of Finance for the benefit of the wounded.
