On Monday at 9:00 The Council of Ministers, in accordance with the Prime Minister’s announcement, will decide to introduce a state of natural disaster – said Deputy Minister of the Interior and Administration Czesław Mroczek. The situation of natural disasters will also extend to areas affected by floods, and consultations with the voivodes are underway.
An extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers will be held on Monday at 9:00 a.m. in connection with the flood situation, the Prime Minister’s Office announced on Sunday evening. The government plans to declare a state of natural disaster. The Prime Minister announced on Sunday that, after consulting with the ministers and departments concerned, he has ordered the drafting of a Council of Ministers regulation on the matter.

A state of natural disaster
When asked whether the state of natural disaster would cover the entire country or individual voivodeships, he replied:
A state of natural disaster will be introduced in the area where it occurred. We are consulting with the voivodes about this. This means that voivodes will indicate the areas affected by this disaster, based on the agreement or recommendation of the voivodeship crisis management teams.
He explained that “after 9am today there will be a certain area that is subject to a natural disaster.”
