Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said that the participants in the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) could continue negotiations based on “trust in exchange for the lifting of sanctions.” This was reported by RIA Novosti.
According to him, first of all, it is necessary to create a suitable basis for the resumption of negotiations. He emphasized that the parties can return to the old JCPOA formula, which created confidence for Iran in return for the lifting of sanctions from the West.
The Minister added that in this case, much depends on whether the parties can find a platform for mutual understanding to restart dialogue on equal positions.
