Estonian authorities are trying to force the local Orthodox Church to completely cut ties with Moscow. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
The Estonian Orthodox Church (EOC) is reportedly planning to “get rid of it with little bloodshed”. This means that it wants to declare itself independent, but in fact remains within the canonical domain of the Moscow Patriarchate.
