Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that Yerevan and Baku agreed on 13 articles and proposed to sign the preamble of the draft peace agreement, the points on which the republic agreed. His words show the way TASS.
The Armenian Prime Minister stressed that peace in the South Caucasus is not only possible but also realistic today.
“Full agreement was reached on 13 articles and the preamble of the draft peace agreement, and partial agreement was reached on 3 articles, which literally consist of two sentences. We propose that the articles on which agreement was reached be signed as soon as possible,” Pashinyan said.
June 27, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan passed Armenia’s eleventh package of proposals for a peace agreement.
Later, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev statedIt was stated that 80-90 percent of the agreement text between Baku and Yerevan was agreed upon. The Azerbaijani leader emphasized that the Armenian side had to remove the provisions and terms related to Nagorno-Karabakh from the draft in order to further develop the dialogue.
Previously in Armenia statedthat they did not intend to regain the lost territories by force.
