US President Joe Biden’s administration has submitted a classified report to the US Congress on its strategy for the Ukraine conflict. The agency reported Reuters With reference to sources.

The long-awaited report, due in June, was delivered to lawmakers on September 9 and they had not yet had a chance to review it, an unnamed congressional aide said. This was confirmed by two other Reuters sources.

In the two and a half years since the beginning of the conflict, Congress has approved about $175 billion in various forms of assistance to Ukraine and allied countries, the agency said.

After months of delay, the Republican-led House of Representatives passed a $95 billion supplemental spending bill in April, including $61 billion for Ukraine.

As part of that bill, Congress directed the presidential administration to submit a detailed strategy on Ukraine by early June.

Democrats and many Republicans in Congress support the White House’s aid to Ukraine, but some Republicans have criticized the administration for limiting the use of American weapons to strike targets deep inside Russia, as the agency highlighted.

September 6 USA allocated Ukraine receives new military aid package worth $250 million.
