“Tusk has one task: to destroy PiS and the entire environment, to intimidate people and implement a plan that suits the Brussels elites,” PiS MEP Beata Szydło, a former prime minister of Poland, said in an interview with Telewizja wPolsce24.
In the program “Magazyn 24” on Telewizja wPolsce24, editor Aleksandra Jakubowska spoke, among other things, with former PiS prime minister Beata Szydło. about the case of Russian spy Pablo Gonzalez, also known as Paweł Rubcow, and about the repression of the current authorities against Robert Bąkiewicz and the Independence March Association.
Szydło: Where is the Polish state?
You may ask yourself who governs us and how they protect our security. Where is the Polish state? It is unbelievable that a Russian spy, who receives full information about the files collected during his trial, has access not only to open but also to secret information, and moreover to the explanation of the prosecutor’s office, which claims that there was no other possibility when it was known that this possibility exists
– said Beata Szydło when asked about Rubcow.
The question is whether Poland is in safe hands today. Do those who govern us really care about the safety of Poland? How many more situations like this will happen. There are more and more questions, the prime minister is not speaking on this issue, the service coordinator is not speaking, it is really starting to look very disturbing. Many Poles today may be wondering whether we are safe, whether Poland is safe, whether the team that is currently in power in Poland has control over the situation, or maybe there is a deeper meaning to all this. More and more questions will arise if Tusk does not speak out on this issue and the situation is not clarified
– she added.
Ordinary people harassed by Tusk’s government
Editor Jakubowska asked the MEP whether non-governmental organisations are now also being targeted by this government.
Non-governmental organizations and ordinary citizens, ordinary people who supported us, who were not even members of PiS, but who were known to have the same views as ours, that they were our voters. In many places they were and are being ridiculed and harassed. This is Tusk’s tactic: to intimidate. It seems to me that the most important thing at the moment is to intimidate and show that whoever is with PiS, who supports Law and Justice, will be in trouble.
– the former prime minister replied.
This is a game designed to intimidate people. Politicians need to have thick skin and realize that politics is cruel. We are used to various kinds of attacks and intimidation. But ordinary citizens, who in a democratic country have the right to make election decisions that they consider right, have the right to support this particular political party, cannot be afraid. They cannot be harassed and ridiculed. And it is our duty, the duty of politicians, to defend them above all
– she added.
After we lose power, it is already an avalanche. People are fired and harassed just because they were employed during the PiS government, for example. I know an example of a young girl who had nothing to do with PiS. But she started working in a state institution right after graduating and won the competition. She was unlucky because she worked when Law and Justice was in power. She was now on the rocks, she was fired without any justification. It is our duty to stand with these people, our voters, today
– said Szydło.
“Tusk’s job is to destroy PiS and intimidate people.
The example of Mr. Robert Bąkiewicz and the organizers of the Independence March shows that Tusk and his people have no inhibitions. They will attack anyone who has right-wing, conservative views, who wants Poland to become a sovereign country, who does not agree that Polish property should be sold and that Poland should be subordinated primarily to the interests that suit Germany.
– said the MEP.
This is part of a broader plan to rebuild the European Union in such a way that only those interests that are good for Germany and accepted by Brussels count. And in the background, there are also similarities with Russia – because let’s not forget that until Russia attacked Ukraine, projects like Nord Stream 2 were promoted and promoted here in Brussels
– she added.
These interests are interrupted, and countries like Poland under the PiS government, and now for example Hungary or Italy, with conservative governments, feel uncomfortable because this plan could fail. Hence this furious attack. Tusk has one task: to destroy PiS and the whole environment, to intimidate people and to implement a plan that suits the Brussels elites.
– summarized Beata Szydło.
