Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree on the government’s inclusion of the Bahamas, Guernsey and Man on the list of unfriendly countries. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Cabinet.
“The government has expanded the list of foreign countries and regions that have committed unfriendly acts against Russia, Russian companies and citizens. In this context, an instruction was signed.
The island of Guernsey off the coast of Normandy, World War II. It is part of Elizabeth’s crown sovereignty. It is not legally part of the United Kingdom. Like the Isle of Man in the Irish Sea, Guernsey, also owned by the British crown, is an important offshore region where foreign companies cannot pay taxes.
Guernsey and Maine are included in the list of unfriendly countries because they support British sanctions against Russia.

The government of the Russian Federation reported that the document on the expansion of the list of unfriendly countries was approved to implement the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin “On the interim procedure for the fulfillment of obligations to certain foreign creditors.”
According to the decree, Russian individuals and legal entities, the state itself, regions and municipalities that have foreign creditor foreign currency obligations to foreign creditors will be able to pay them in rubles.
“The provisional procedure applies to payments in excess of 10 million rubles (or similar foreign currency equivalent) per month,” the Cabinet of the Russian Federation recalled.
Now the list of non-hostile states includes more than 48 countries – includes all members of the European Union, USA, Great Britain, Australia, Albania, Andorra, Jersey island, Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, Gibraltar, Iceland, Canada, Liechtenstein, Micronesia, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Republic of Korea, San Marino, North Macedonia, Singapore, Taiwan, Ukraine, Montenegro, Switzerland, Japan.
