“There is no democracy in a situation where there is no opposition. And yet his goal is to destroy the opposition,” Mariusz Błaszczak said on the “Gość Wiadomości” wPolsce24 program, commenting on Donald Tusk’s actions.
The former Defense Minister commented on the fact that the police had forcibly entered the headquarters of the “Independence March” association.
I interpret it directly. It is about destabilizing our country, it is about intimidating society. It is about pacifying Poland. These are methods that should not be done. This is one big scandal. Yesterday Donald Tusk attacked the first president of the Supreme Court. He demands blood. He does not obey the laws, he does not obey the law, he fights with the opposition. There is no democracy in a situation where there is no opposition. Yet his goal is to destroy the opposition. That is why we must deprive these seven million six hundred thousand Poles of political representation in Law and Justice. He really does not like the Independence March, because hundreds of thousands of Polish patriots gather every year, so he tries to close the March.
– said Mariusz Błaszczak.
In my opinion, this is done with the aim of depriving Polish patriots of the opportunity to celebrate the regained independence after 123 years of independence, in order to intimidate public opinion. This is anti-state policy. This is a policy aimed at making Poles suppliers of cheap labor again. Just like before 2015. But Tusk will not succeed
– he added.
Withdrawal of the subsidy
The PiS politician was commenting on the withdrawal of some of his party’s subsidies.
I think it was taken illegally. This is evident from the opinions of the statutory auditor, the National Investigation Agency and the entire jurisprudence of the courts. For more than twenty years, the courts have been pointing to a different method of document analysis than the one used on 13 December by the National Electoral Commission, dominated by coalition nominees. These nominees themselves say publicly that they used different criteria for PiS and other parties
– he said.
When asked how much money PiS needs for the presidential campaign, Błaszczak gave a specific figure.
There are limits, so we need almost thirty million zlotys to make this campaign a campaign that will reach voters. We distinguish ourselves on the Polish political scene by always presenting a program. We distinguish ourselves by keeping our commitments. (…) We are dealing with a situation where the plan was to weaken the PiS candidate and this process was carried out
– he said.
Mariusz Błaszczak drew attention to the importance of investments in the gas pipeline in Świnoujście.
They did not want to open the gas terminal because they were implementing German directives and the Germans were doing business with Moscow. Nord Stream is an example of this. Making Poland independent of Russian gas supplies was not in the German or Russian interest. Those who ruled Poland until 2015 did not do this
– he said.
When asked about the situation in the army and the contracts signed by the current Ministry of National Defense, he replied:
When and how long should we wait? Will these agreements be signed? Signed three, smaller ones. One concerns the supply of cranes for sappers, the other concerns a radio station. But a very important agreement concerning the production of Korean K2 tanks in Poland has not yet been signed. Why? Probably because these tanks would be competitive with the German Leopard tanks. The Minister of Defense is very pleased with the export catalog. It would be a bull’s eye if the K2 tank were produced in Poland. I bet there will be many customers for this tank
– he said.
