The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation has developed amendments that will allow the abolition of fines imposed on regional and municipal authorities for non-fulfillment of delegated state powers, if money is not allocated for their implementation. This was reported on the newspaper’s website “Vedomosti”.

It is planned to amend the article of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation “On cases excluding proceedings in the status of administrative offenses.”

According to the source of the publication, the innovation was approved within the framework of the legislative commission, which took place on August 27.

The publication emphasizes that the changes were developed on the instructions of Vladimir Putin. The main purpose is to create mechanisms to limit the responsibility of local governments.
