Prime Minister Donald Tusk co-signed the presidential decree appointing Judge Krzysztof Wesołowski as chairman of the meeting of the Civil Chamber of the Supreme Court. However, he later declared it a “mistake”, adding that the official who drew up this document had not noticed the political nature of the nomination.
There were many positive reactions saying that this referee dispute might finally be over. However, knowing Donald Tusk’s actions, I was more inclined to believe that we should not be too happy and that this dispute will be resolved, and that this escalation will continue.

Donald Tusk explained that “the prime minister’s job is to sign hundreds of documents, sometimes several dozen per day” and “the official responsible for preparing the signing did not notice the political nature of the document.”

Tusk announced that Justice Minister Adam Bodnar will soon present projects related to the status of judges, the National Council of the Judiciary and the Supreme Court.
If these laws are prepared by the Minister of Justice, Adam Bodnar, we will once again have a “bodnarization” of law, which will not lead to law but to lawlessness. Back to what we already knew. After all, the entire legal system cannot be reformed, and it not only does not go in the right direction of what the citizens expect, but it also leads to deeper chaos, which means that the law will be violated more and more often and will be contrary to the Constitution.
