Michał Woś referred to the words of Deputy Minister of Justice Maria Ejchart, who said on Campus Polska that there should be no absolute life sentence in Poland, because “punishment should give hope, because hope is motivation.”
Ms Ejchart spoke of absolute life imprisonment. This is the punishment we have introduced for truly vicious degenerates, child murderers and repeat paedophiles. I was most interested in this thread about “civilised western countries”. So Britain is not a civilised western country? There is no problem with this kind of punishment…
