““Dark times lie ahead of us, because Tusk has only just begun,” said Piotr Kaleta from Law and Justice in an interview with the wPolityce.pl portal.
You can read about the gigantic budget deficit in Poland in the article “300 million per day” by Konrad Kołodziejski in the latest issue of the weekly magazine “Sieci”.
READ MORE: In the weekly “Sieci”: Tusk’s rule costs PLN 300 million in losses per day. “The deficit has increased by as much as PLN 57 billion. This does not bode well.”
This is what Piotr Kaleta says about the state of the Polish economy in an interview with wPolityce.pl.
It must be said with genuine malice: a steady series of successes for Donald Tusk’s Civic Platform. But why are we not surprised? Because Tusk and his team are exactly like that: they are dragging Poland down. Do such nasty things without the slightest hesitation
– he says, reminding us of what it was like in recent years.
I would like to remind you that without COVID and without the war in Ukraine, the Law and Justice government for the first time after the war made sure that the budget would be balanced – expenditure would be equal to revenue. It was an undoubted success for Mateusz Morawiecki and the entire ruling team at the time, and now we have what we have. And it will not end there
– says the Member of Parliament for Law and Justice, emphasizing:
We know very well that these people are exactly like that: they are a bunch of losers. They don’t care what they do, what is more important to them is the ‘morning after’ pill, the so-called “legal abortion”. We must prepare ourselves that this is just a prelude, the beginning of what is coming.
He also adds that the actions of the current government are not a surprise.
Those who voted for this team should look in the mirror and say, “What have I done?!” With this comparative scale at the moment – the government of Law and Justice, with all its imperfections, which were there, we admit it, but everyone saw the financial consequences of our governments and now the government of these losers. Let’s see what this looks like
– notes and gives one of the reasons for such a difference in Poland’s governance:
Disaster on the Oder, problems after the storms, and we hear that Tusk and half of the Ministry of Climate are on vacation. They simply do not care about Polish affairs. We live under the rule of people who not only cannot do it, but who are also a consequence of a certain human character, but who simply do not want to rule.
“Dark times lie ahead for Tusk, as he has only just begun.
When asked whether Poland is heading for dark times, Piotr Kaleta answers in the affirmative.
Dark times lie ahead. Red times. A return to rotten communism
– he says, recalling the example of Orlen, whose financial situation, after a huge drop in profits in the past six months, does not look promising.
Orlen was the goose that laid golden eggs. Now it is a broiler that lays stinking eggs. And these people will follow the story that it is PiS’s fault that they are currently “cleaning up”
– the politician notes, adding that this is not the only example of such a translation.
Recently I was on TV with a young Platform MP, who said that the idea of keeping the Oder clean is to “clean up” after PiS at the company Wody Polskie. This is the level of primitivism of these people. Some Poles were happy about it – maybe they dressed better, had nicer glasses, maybe had whiter shirts. If this is the approach of the homeland, it does not look good
– says Piotr Kaleta and emphasizes:
Dark times await us, because Tusk has only just begun. Let us pay attention: such situations exist in the Polish economy, and Tusk receives an award from a German. This proves something.
Impact on our finances
The MP for Law and Justice also recalls that the situation of the Polish economy will have consequences for Poles:
Poles will soon return from vacation and will receive “greetings” from companies selling electricity and water. Bills will be higher – finances that are terrible in the state budget will translate into our everyday life. The costs incurred – food, functioning in households, the issue of buying fuel for the winter – all this will be revealed in the blink of an eye.
Piotr Kaleta also refers to the situation at PKP Cargo, whose future is at stake and a wave of layoffs is sweeping through the company.
When it comes to layoffs in PKP Cargo, I have a mixed attitude to it, because I recently had the opportunity to participate in meetings with PKP Cargo trade unionists in Poznań, but for God’s sake, trade unionists should also get to work. and not just make threatening faces and protest that they will not allow people to lose their jobs. Unfortunately, they allow it. Trade unions should wake up and get back to work, because now a team has arrived that will take away everything that allowed them to function peacefully. It was a blessing for the well-being of our homeland. They should also start fighting for themselves, and not just look to politicians
– he says, adding that it is a struggle for fundamental things that should function well in Poland:
During the war, PKP Cargo was of crucial importance in the supply of military equipment, weapons, ammunition and the entire technical base of the Polish army.
Who will benefit from the slowdown in Polish development?
In an interview with the wPolityce.pl portal, Piotr Kaleta also answered the question of whether one can benefit from the worse economic situation in Poland and the slowdown in its development.
I am a member of the parliamentary committee on the visa lie of the Civic Platform. During the hearing with Daniel Obajtek, I had the opportunity to ask whether, for example, Orlen’s investments in olefins could have harmed German interests. Daniel Obajtek managed to answer in the affirmative that they could have been harmful, and then the chairman of the committee, Marek Sowa, said: “I will not answer this question.” It seems to me that this is an analogy with who could have suffered harm from Polish interests. They could have harmed Germany
– gives an example. Currently, those in power are expected to approach this issue in a different way:
People came who cannot even give the impression that it is different. The Gospel is a holy book, but it is also a wise book and it is written: “by their fruits you will know them.” And now we see this fruit, this rot, falling to the ground and giving nothing to us or our homeland. It is just something that benefits someone else who can say that he has his own people in our country.
