““Think warmly today about Deputy Minister Sługocki,” Radosław Fogiel, a member of parliament from Law and Justice, wrote on the X website. The politician was referring to the expulsion of Waldemar Sługocki from the government for not participating in the vote on abortion. The deputy minister was on a business trip to the US at the time. The PiS politician compared it to the current dismissal of Bartłomiej Ciążyński, who went on holiday in a company car.
Deputy Justice Minister Bartłomiej Ciążyński has resigned because he went on vacation in a company car. The left-wing politician also paid for fuel with his company card.

In his contribution to the X platform, Radosław Fogiel compared the case of Ciążyński’s dismissal with the dismissal of another deputy minister of the ruling coalition, Waldemar Sługocki. The only difference is that Sługocki was expelled from the government for not participating in the vote on abortion because he was on a business trip.
Today, think warmly of Deputy Minister Sługocki, who in Tusk’s government, where only PR is important, was treated for fulfilling his official duties in the same way as someone who paid for fuel on vacation with his company card.

The issue of Ciążyński’s dismissal was commented on by the editor-in-chief of the portal goniec.pl, Janusz Schwertner, who stated that this is what journalistic work and exposing scandals in government circles should look like.
In summary: 1. The behavior of the State Secretary is utterly reprehensible. 2. WP text – a good example of keeping an eye on the authorities. 3. The decision to resign immediately, instead of attacking journalists and pretending nothing happened – something new
– he said.
He was answered by lawyer Bartosz Lewandowski, who accused Schwertner that if he were a prominent Civic Platform activist, journalists covering this case would certainly be accused of receiving money from Law and Justice.
The answer is simple: the text was about the politician @__Lewica, and therefore a weak coalition partner. If a journalist wrote something about the politician @ko_klub, the #silnirazem attack militias would not let him live, one important person would point out that he probably took money from PiS or Z. Ziobro and is a “spitting dwarf of reaction”, another would say that he was acting in coordination with Putin and reproducing Russian propaganda, and another would demand that the editor-in-chief resign from his post and boycott the publisher’s advertisements. We are in such a moment of public debate in Poland
– he concluded.
