Bangladesh’s former PM’s son says his mother did not officially resign 08:23

Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina officially continues to head the Cabinet; she has not officially resigned. In our interview with the agency on this issue, Reuters said his son Sajeeb Wazed Joy.

“My mother did not officially resign. She did not have time,” he emphasized.

According to him, the country’s former prime minister was planning to make a formal announcement about his resignation, but the protesters did not give him the opportunity to do so. “According to the constitution, he is still the prime minister of Bangladesh,” Joy added.
