Japan demands apology from US over atomic bomb 04:22

America should apologize to the Japanese people for the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This view was expressed by Muneo Suzuki, a member of the upper house of the Japanese parliament, writes RIA Novosti.

He noted that last year the G7 summit was held in Hiroshima and US President Joe Biden gave a speech there. The deputy is sure that this was a perfect opportunity for the US to admit for the first time in history that using an atomic bomb was a mistake and to apologize. But the American leader did not do that.

“Since there was no such apology, I think they should have had to say it at the summit. Prime Minister Kishida did nothing about it. Everything is going the way America wants it to,” he said.

Never before has a Japanese politician did not mention United States, at a ceremony at Peace Memorial Park to commemorate the 79th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Hiroshima. Including Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.

Grandson of the creator of the American atomic bomb visited Hiroshima.
