Rafał Trzaskowski organized a press conference, in which he announced that the second edition of Campus Polska Przyszłość will be held again in Olsztyn at the end of August. Let’s remind you: it is a political and ideological enterprise organized mainly for non-Polish money (see partners). Take a look at the list of invitees, speakers and topics discussed. The general message of Campus: Poland must change, abandon your valuestraditions, identity and adapting to leftist and libertine values (in short “do what you want”).
This has nothing to do with true liberalism. Liberalism is a search for the truth, openness to discussion and the arguments of others, and what is most important – respect for the rules adopted, for example election results.
The Campus organizers do not hide that they want to train young participants according to the patterns prevailing in European salons today. The meeting should also be an opportunity to find active people who are reluctant or even willing to support organizations and communities hostile to the Law and Justice government. There is no place in this environment for people of right-wing, conservative, centrist and even moderate beliefs.
Behind the scenes there will be fighting between individual opposition parties. Tusk, Trzaskowski, Biedro, Schetynan they will want to strengthen their influence. On stage, of course, everyone pats their backs, laughs and ensures full cooperation.
The location of the Campus at UWM in Olsztyn causes great damage to our university. The myth of the “red university” we’ve fought for for decades is coming back to life. There is a false message in Poland that the academic community in Olsztyn is completely dominated by leftist ideologies, that it wants to build its position on politics, not on the level of education and scientific identification.
On the occasion of the first Campus, there was a discussion about the ‘apolitical’ of higher education. I am in favor of lifting the hypocritical ban on political activity in universities. In practice, it appears that professors and students who are attached to traditional, patriotic and right-wing values must bear in mind that they will at the very least be hurt by them. Is it necessary to recall the list of professors who have been oppressed in various ways for expressing views that deviate from leftist dogmas? On the other hand, the “apolitical” University of Warmia and Mazury will be hosted again a multi-day ideological and political festival with the leaders of the political opposition in the lead roles.
* One of the partners of Campus Polska Przyszłość is the Food Bank in Olsztyn, which states on its official website apolitical as one of the three most important principles. According to the information on this website, “Food support obtained by the Food Bank in Olsztyn goes to organizations and social institutions from all over the region: cafeterias, social institutions, community centers, orphanages, night shelters, social welfare centers, single mothers’ homes, as well as to schools and other educational institutions I wonder which category the Poles of the Past Campus belong to?
