The Work for Poland team has prepared a report on the CPK, which presents, among other things: differences between the CPK project prepared during the PiS government and what Donald Tusk’s team is doing in this area. “When preparing this report, we did some work that was not done by the government, because when we look at what Prime Minister Tusk and Minister Lasek communicated (…), the first thing that strikes us is the enormous chaos, inconsistency and mutual contradiction with the statements. (…) You cannot program infrastructure projects this way,” PiS MP Marcin Horała said at a press conference where he appeared together with Mateusz Morawiecki.
Various disjointed ideas were collected about how the CPK program, to put it bluntly, is corrupting. (…) We tried at the expert and analytical level to harmonize and in fact create a common concept of Megalopolis, decoded from various kinds of arbitrary statements, graphics and development
– he explained Marcin Horalareferring to the work of the Working Team for Poland.
These six months of project sabotage, where nothing happened and ongoing processes were stopped, must have resulted in delays and losses much greater than just half a year.
– he emphasized.
“This case certainly cannot be let go and we will not let it go.”
Horała pointed out that the version of the CPK project presented by the current authorities is incorrect.
This so-called Megalopolis is a shell. This is actually a political idea, how to deflate this social movement, by telling people: “we are building CPK, you can leave, you can not be interested.” Nothing could be further from the truth, we citizens must be constantly interested, exert pressure and keep an eye on things. Unfortunately, it will be a difficult fight, because it is very difficult to move the investment process forward, despite who should be responsible for it and force it somehow. But we must and will do it, because the future of our country and the well -being of Poland is at stake here. This issue certainly cannot be let go and we will not let go of it either
– he declared.
