Law and Justice MEP Waldemar Buda stated in his entry on the X platform that Donald Tusk had decided to withdraw funding for Law and Justice. “The consequences of this will be clear. No opposition party will receive funding in the future. It doesn’t matter who is in power,” he wrote. He also posted a short video explaining the threats emanating from this situation.
Waldemar Buda warns that Donald Tusk has decided to withdraw subsidies from Poland’s largest opposition party.
@donaldtusk has already decided to take away the subsidy of the largest opposition party at all costs! Please! The consequences of this will be clear. No opposition party will receive any subsidies in the future. No matter who is in power

A threat to democracy
Below the entry, Waldemar Buda posted a short video explaining the threat to democracy in Poland.
Donald Tusk has probably already made his decision. Subsidies must be taken away from Law and Justice at all costs. Law and Justice is still united, still strong. It has a strong 30 percent-plus support and poses a deadly threat to him. We must be aware of the consequences that this will have. This fundamentally changes the functioning of democracy in Poland. This means that from now on no opposition party will receive subsidies. These will be the consequences regardless of who is in charge of Civic Platform, because I think that will happen quite quickly, so that all decision-makers are aware of the consequences of this decision.
– he said in the recording.
