The Russian passport rose to 45th place in the ranking of the world’s most powerful passports. reports Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) with reference to the updated passport index of Henley&Partners.
Turkey, along with Russia, is in this position. During the year, the Russian passport rose six places in the ranking.
The durability of a passport is determined by the number of countries to which its holder can travel without a visa. Currently, Russians have the opportunity to travel without a visa to 116 countries of the world.
Singapore ranks first in this ranking; its citizens can travel to 195 countries without a visa.
Before this, Thai authorities unilaterally changed Citizens of the Russian Federation are temporarily allowed to enter without a visa for a period of 60 days for permanent entry.
In addition to the agreement, Russians have the right to enter the country without a visa for 60 days, under a separate order from the Thai Ministry of Interior.
