In Hungary, there was talk of a “chance for peace” between Russia and Ukraine 11:25

Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjarto described Donald Trump’s potential victory in the US presidential election as a “chance for peace” between Russia and Ukraine. His words provide guidance Reuters.

As Szijjártó put it, there needs to be “very strong external pressure” on the conflicting parties to force them to the negotiating table.

“Who has a chance in the coming period? That will only happen if President Trump is elected. If President Trump wins, we see a chance for peace. If President Trump wins, we see a chance for good relations between Hungary and the United States,” he said.

Peter Szijjártó before this statedHe said that continuing the current strategy of NATO and the European Union towards Ukraine would lead to escalation of the conflict and the destruction of the country. According to Szijjártó, the policies of Western countries regarding the conflict between Russia and Ukraine “did not bring results because the situation has worsened”.

Previously The EU wanted to hold a meeting to discuss the “violations” in Hungary.
