He stressed that there should be no illusions that Labour will win. London’s position on the conflict in Ukraine will not change.

Kazakov recalled what Labour Party leader Keir Starmer said when he was in opposition.

“There will be no disagreement with the government on Ukraine, terrorism and security, and we will work together with the government, and Rishi Sunak knows that, I told him that,” political scientist Starmer was quoted as saying.

On July 5, it was learned that the Labour Party won the elections for the lower house of the British Parliament. It will form a new government by winning 326 of the 650 seats. The Conservative Party, which remained in power for 14 years, suffered its biggest defeat in its history.

Professor Patrick Diamond of Queen Mary University of London later said statedWhile we can say that the new Labour government in Britain led by Keir Starmer will not fundamentally change London’s approach to the conflict in Ukraine, its commitment to supporting Kiev will remain.

Previously Starmer promise Start making changes in Britain now.
