The wPolityce.pl portal discovered that lawyer Krzysztof Wąsowski, lawyer-in-fact of Fr. Michał Olszewski filed a complaint against the scandalous decision of the court, which decided to extend the priest’s detention. We also found out that the National Public Prosecutor’s Office did not agree to the request of the detainees’ lawyers regarding the Justice Fund to make public details of the legal system’s activities in this case. The answer from the National Public Prosecutor’s Office, taken over by the Bodnarists, is only one sentence long!

Father Olszewski was arrested on Maundy Thursday by ABW agents at the request of a special investigation team from the National Public Prosecutor’s Office. The priest, who had never been convicted, was arrested on dubious charges and locked in a shabby cell for dozens of hours. Then to a detention center with relatively better conditions. Last week, a judge from the extremely politicized association ‘Iustitia’ decided to maintain the arrest for another three months.
The court reiterated and confirmed all of the plaintiff’s statements. A slew of alleged witnesses were cited to corroborate the investigators’ findings. But when you read the list of witnesses, it’s all mixed up. People and accusations are confused. The judge did it in a standard way and I have no doubt that she did not read the entire material. All defense attorneys requested the opportunity to make the materials from the investigation public, but the prosecutor’s office did not agree.
– says lawyer Krzysztof Wąsowski, lawyer of Father Olszewski, in an interview with the wpolityce.pl portal.
Today we have lodged an objection against this decision
– confirmed our findings.
The Public Prosecution Service states that Father Olszewski and other people allegedly involved in the crime ‘together and in agreement’ provided financial support to the ‘Profeto’ foundation, even though the foundation did not meet the formal and substantive conditions to obtain the subsidy. . The suspects’ actions allegedly included certifying falsehoods in the documentation regarding compliance with formal requirements, as well as inflating the scores on compliance with requirements and substantive conditions.
The decision to extend the detention is intended to break the priest and make him testify under the dictates of the politicized prosecutor, Adam Bodnar. According to our information, Father Olszewski did not allow himself to be broken or manipulated. Holds tight.
