Russia promises response to new US sanctions 04:01

Russian Federation Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov said that Russia will give an adequate and decisive response to the conflict imposed by the USA. This was reported by RIA News.

According to him, the new sanctions imposed by the US Treasury Department are a congratulations of the American authorities to the Russian people.

Antonov believes that Washington believes it can solve global problems alone, as threats such as terrorism, proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, cybercrime and others increase.

The diplomat noted that the Russian side is ready for equal dialogue if the United States is ready for this, but Moscow will not impose itself as a partner.

Before that Antonov statedthat the majority of countries in the world refuse to participate in sanctions against Russia.
