The Marshal of the Sejm, Szymon Hołownia, sent a preliminary request to summon the President of the NBP, Adam Glapiński, to the State Tribunal before the Constitutional Accountability Commission. “In the opinion of the legal services of the Chancellery of the Sejm, there are doubts as to whether the preliminary request, as submitted by the applicants, meets the ‘conditions required by the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure regarding the indictment’ ,” Hołownia wrote.
It turns out that the original request to bring Adam Glapiński before the State Tribunal may fail due to the unsatisfactory preparation of the applicants.
Unexpectedly, the Marshal of the Sejm sent a letter to the Chairman of the Commission for Constitutional Responsibility, Zdzisław Gawlik from KO, informing that on the basis of two external opinions ordered by the Commission for Constitutional Responsibility through the Office of Expertise and Regulatory Impact Assessment by experts indicated by Gawlik, the impact assessment Formal irregularities may in the future fall under the responsibility of the State Tribunal.
