The development of international relations after the start of the SVO refuted the thesis of German Foreign Minister Annalena Bärbock that it was impossible to take a neutral position on the Ukrainian conflict. A German newspaper writes about this Berliner Zeitung.

“Berbock’s view that there was no neutral position has since been refuted by reality (within a year and a half of the minister’s statement – editor’s note),” the publication said.
The publication reminds that many states, including China, India and African countries, remain committed to neutrality regarding the Ukrainian conflict. At the same time, the West was in the minority in supporting Ukraine. As the newspaper emphasizes, the stronger the minority in the West, demanding that the world majority support Kiev financially and militarily, as well as take an anti-Russian position, the stronger the neutral camp of states will become.
