Citizens of Western Europe are increasingly fed up with the EU order: excessive regulation, high taxes, open borders, progressive censorship and restrictions on freedom. This is the result of opinion polls carried out in five EU countries.

Two weeks before the European Parliament elections, the Tyson Group pollster, commissioned by the EU-US Forum, surveyed the mood of citizens in five EU countries: France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and the Netherlands.
The basic conclusion that follows is that the citizens of these countries are increasingly fed up with the EU and global orders and believe that European affairs are going in the wrong direction. This view is probably shared by citizens of many other Western countries. Traditionally, they assess the policies of Brussels and their own countries in relations with the EU much more critically than Central and Eastern Europe. This is of course also linked to the fact that they are paying the ultimate price for the EU’s disastrous policies – they are seeing the collapse of the welfare state and ongoing social and economic crises caused by, for example, uncontrolled immigration and the follies of the Green deal.
Only 24% of the Dutch, 29% of Italians and 32% of French believe that the EU is going in the right direction. One of the most important challenges is stopping illegal immigration. 77% of Portuguese, 76% of Dutch, French and Germans and 63% of Italians agree with the statement:
Countries must introduce stricter border controls to limit the flow of illegal migrants entering Europe.
Another major cause for concern is the personal financial situation as a function of the general state of the economy in Europe. As many as 59% of Portuguese and French, 54% of Italians, 49% of Germans and 48% of Dutch say that their personal financial situation is worse than a year ago.
There is a general belief that the increasingly worse financial situation is caused, among other things, by: too high taxes. This is the opinion of 73% of Italians, 69% of Portuguese, 52% of Dutch, 51% of Germans and 44% of French.
Most citizens of these countries also have a very negative opinion of the Green Deal. 62% of Germans, 60% of French, 55% of Dutch and Portuguese and 46% of Italians believe that excessive energy regulation threatens the economy and security.
Contrary to the views of the Eurocracy and the rulers of many countries, who see agriculture as a threat to the climate and want to limit or even abolish it in the EU, the vast majority of Europeans want to rebuild food production in Europe. and support it. This is what 89% of the Portuguese, 85% of the French and Germans, 74% of the Italians and 72% of the Dutch want. How different is this view from that of supporters of the current government during the agricultural protests in Poland.
One of the questions was about freedom of expression. 65% of French, 63% of Italians, 57% of Portuguese, 51% of Dutch and 46% of Germans are concerned about the introduction of censorship by governments and believe that freedom of expression is much more limited was ten years ago. Poles also have to get used to increasing censorship. The law drawn up by the ruling coalition on the fight against the so-called Hate Speech. You can be sure that the current government will copy all the stupidest, anti-freedom solutions from the West.
Commenting on the survey results, Alex Alvarado, vice president of Tyson Group, said:
Research clearly shows that EU citizens desire change in their governments and policies. There is a strong negative sentiment about the direction the EU is heading and about the leadership in various countries. This phenomenon causes an increase in support for conservative parties, which we observe in each of our studies.
