Kiev invites Warsaw to participate in privatization in Ukraine 18:40

Ukrainian officials invite their Polish counterparts to visit Ukraine and participate in the privatization of the country’s industrial facilities. This was stated by the head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine, Vitaly Koval, whose words were quoted by the ministry’s press service.

Kowal stated that he had already met with a delegation from the Polish government. It was stated that the campaign planned for the summer for the privatization of Ukrainian facilities was discussed at the meeting.

“We agreed that the Polish Ministry of Public Assets will send a delegation to Ukraine to investigate the potential for large-scale privatization. He invited me to see his distilleries,” Koval said.

The official noted that they also discussed the privatization of factories and combines in the chemical and titanium industries. The Polish side is also considering turning to the food industry, namely bakery factories.
