President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev appointed Kanat Bozumbayev as the country’s Deputy Prime Minister. This has been reported telegram channel Press service of the Kazakh leader.

The statement said, “By the decree of the president, Kanat Aldabergenovich Bozumbayev was appointed Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan and was relieved of his previous position.”

Bozumbayev, 55, has been an advisor to the President of Kazakhstan since September 2023. Before that, he worked as head of administration of the Alma-Ata region, deputy head of state and minister of energy in different years.
