Hungary does not create any obstacles to the issuance of Schengen visas to Russian citizens. In an interview about this TASS said Peter Szijjártó, head of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations.
“We issue visas to Russian passengers without any problems. “We have not changed the visa issuance methodology,” he said.
According to him, Hungary “does not discriminate against Russians.”
“Of course Russians are welcome,” Szijjártó added.
The Minister emphasized that visa requests can be made throughout Russia. He noted that Hungary provided a predictable timeline for how long the procedure would take and also explained what documents needed to be provided.
