Last week’s hearing of Jarosław Kaczyński (March 15-PAP) continues to cause hiccups for the Pegasus Investigative Committee. – I saw Magdalena Sroka in the Sejm the weekend after the hearing, she didn’t seem satisfied – an MP tells us

The weekly reports that some MPs were skeptical from the start about interrogating the PiS president while he could not be confronted with the documents. He adds, citing one of the committee members, that “my colleagues hoped we would get them” and that it turned out that “it was wishful thinking.”
There were even calls for the chairman of the committee, Magdalena Sroka (PSL), to be dismissed. However, as Newsweek discovered, that hasn’t happened yet. Certainly no one wants to do this before the elections, so as not to increase tensions in the coalition
– says the weekly.
According to Newsweek, MPs on the Pegasus committee still feel not well prepared for the hearings.
There is growing frustration among coalition MPs over the lack of documents to help them get the facts – from the purchase to the use of Pegasus. As we understand, although the committee started its work almost two months ago, so far it has received little information from the services and the public prosecutor’s office.
– informs the weekly magazine.
As you can see, the December 13 Coalition has a serious problem. The committees, which were supposed to be a valuable propaganda tool, turned out to be a double-edged sword that mainly hurt the current government camp.
