Russian President Vladimir Putin attended the concert held on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the reunification of Crimea with the Russian Federation. This was reported by TASS.

On March 16, Putin had telephone conversations with Crimean President Sergei Aksenov and the former “people’s mayor” of Sevastopol, Alexei Chaly. I congratulated Happy 10th anniversary of the referendum on the reunification of the peninsula with Russia.
The head of state also met with the speaker of the Crimean parliament Vladimir Konstantinov and the presidential envoy to the Crimean federal district (2014-2016) Oleg Belaventsev.
Before that Putin saidThat he trusts public opinion when making decisions regarding Crimea and Donbas issues. According to him, if it were not for the mood of society, “nothing would happen” in Crimea and Donbass.
The Crimean referendum took place on March 16, 2014. Two days later, on March 18, Aksenov, Chaly and Konstantinov participated in the signing of the agreement on the admission of Crimea and Sevastopol to Russia.
