“We do not take responsibility for a hundred details, because this is the program of the Civic Platform. We take responsibility for the program we have introduced and for the coalition agreement. Each party must be accountable for everything it has said and proposed to its own electorate,” said Włodzimierz Czarzasty, Vice-President of the Sejm in Szczecin. Our colleagues from Poland 2050 and PSL also understood. “The left has always stood for women’s rights and has fought for women’s rights and will continue to do so. Searching for a third way in this issue will lead nowhere,” said the New Left co-chairman.
The local government program of the left
During Sunday’s meeting in Szczecin, the left presented a local government program whose main pillars are: school, apartment, hospitals.
Safe Poland is a Poland where we can dream of a prosperous local government, a safe home and the dream of not having to queue for a doctor for three years. This is a dream about an apartment that is not doomed that the only way is to take out a loan and have a personal contribution. This is an apartment for rent, which can give us such an opportunity for a few hundred zlotys a month
– emphasized the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Gawkowski.
In its program for the local government elections, the Left wants to focus on three issues: school, housing and hospitals. The school must be an ‘equal opportunity and secular’ institution. The priority of the left authorities is also municipal construction.
These elections are about whether we will focus at the polls on April 7 on the modernization of the state, a secure future, responsibility in our homes, or whether we will decide to take risks.
– said Gawkowski.
As he added: “The past months have proven that a new government, a stable majority, a well-prepared team to govern and the implementation of the election manifesto can be good for Poland and that Poles can be proud of having voted for the elections on October 15. ‘October 15 coalition’ with the strong participation of the left program and well-prepared people.”
He encouraged people to vote for the left-wing candidates, stressing that “the most important thing is that the perspective of normalcy in the country is transferred to the local government.”
This will happen if you vote for the left on April 7. You will vote for the coalition that we will re-create in the people’s assemblies, and then this community of government and local interests will lead us to think carefully.
– said Gawkowski.
They praise the coalition, but ridicule each other?
The meeting in Szczecin assured that the left is a permanent part of the government and will remain there for the entire term of office. Sejm deputy chairman and New Left co-chairman Włodzimierz Czarzasty said the government wanted to hold PiS to account in the first 100 days, but it turned out to be a “very difficult process”.
This process is happening, but after these hundred days I am aware that people think it is going too slowly. We did not expect this, given the mess in fundamental institutions such as the Constitutional Court, such as the National Council for the Judiciary.
– said Tsarzasty. He called Poland’s regaining its position in the European Union the second area that “succeeded within 100 days.”
It is good to hear that the European Union is listening to Paris, Berlin and the voice from Warsaw. This is being taken into account very seriously, and this is thanks to us – this government. It is also to the credit of this government that money from the KPO, voted for Poland by the Polish Left, is starting to flow to Poland.
– adds the Deputy Chairman of the Sejm.
He pointed out that the government will also face many problems, including: related to the economic, military and security consequences of the war in Ukraine. De Czarzasty emphasized, among other things, that the left is implementing its demands. an increase for the public sector and in vitro.
We do not take responsibility for a hundred details, because this is the program of the Civic Platform. We take responsibility for the program we have introduced and for the coalition agreement. Each party must be accountable for everything it has said and proposed to its own electorate
– said the deputy marshal.
He also referred to the issue of the referendum on abortion and women’s rights, saying that the left wants a situation where voters know who they are voting for and which group has which program. He emphasized that voters cannot vote ‘blindly’, because, for example, they are fighting against PiS.
The left has always stood for women’s rights and has fought for women’s rights and will continue to do so. Looking for a third way in this matter will lead nowhere. There is never a good time for women’s rights, but we say: it is a good time for women’s rights, because these are the most important issues that women are fighting for. There is no point in hiding behind the referendum and saying nonsense that the president will sign the law that will be written after the referendum because he will be able to veto it in the same way.
– said Tsarzasty.
He also encouraged people to vote for those who have had clear and accurate answers to all issues for years.”
In the local elections, the left presented candidates to the West Pomeranian Voivodeship Assembly and the Szczecin City Council. He also has a candidate for mayor of the city, Bogdan Jaroszewicz. He announced that if he becomes president of Szczecin, he will, among other things, create better conditions for students, focus on the construction of cheap rental apartments, decongest the city, build parking lots on the outskirts of the city and develop public transport.
Representatives of the left praise the coalition while mocking their PO and Third Way “partners.” This is a split!
