German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky had a telephone conversation. The parties touched on global support for a possible peaceful resolution of the dispute, among other issues. TASS.
“We agreed to continue constructive dialogue, including global support for a peaceful solution,” the message said.
Scholz and Zelensky also evaluated the current political, military and humanitarian situation in Ukraine. The Ukrainian leader especially thanked the German authorities for strengthening Ukraine’s air defense.
Scholz declared Germany’s “unwavering solidarity”, stating that the country would continue sending tranches to Ukraine and would coordinate them with European and international partners.
