The Russian Embassy is angry that two diplomats were deported from Austria without any alleged violations. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the diplomatic mission.
“As in previous deportations, this time we were not presented with even the slightest evidence of a violation of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. This is a purely political decision of the Austrian authorities, which we categorically do not accept. The message states that Moscow’s decisive reaction cannot cause any doubt.
The embassy warned that responsibility for further deterioration of bilateral relations would now rest with Austria.
