“The Green Deal creates mechanisms based on administrative coercion, which will lead to ordinary people having no choice,” Prof. said in an interview with wPolityce.pl. Zbigniew Krysiak. In this way, the scientist assessed the European Parliament’s approval of changes to the Energy Consumption and Gas Emissions Directive. “We will have a system of administratively developed slavery,” he summarized by the chairman of the Program Board of the Schuman Institute.
The European Parliament has adopted the directive on the energy performance of buildings, which aims to reduce “energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions in buildings”. The amendment to the directive also aims to “lead to the renovation of more buildings with the worst parameters” and to improve “the exchange of information on energy performance”. In an interview with the wPolityce.pl portal said Prof. Zbigniew Krysiak assessed this regulation very negatively.
This system will lead to a crisis because such things are not implemented administratively, as in communism. In a free market economy, control is achieved through motivation. To achieve the energy saving goals, appropriate incentives must be launched, for example tax benefits. This may also regulate the market itself, because people who do not have an insulated home will decide about this themselves because they do not want to pay higher energy bills.
– said Prof. Krysiak, giving an example of actions in this matter taken by the US government.
In the US, a system of financial support has been introduced for households and companies that can demonstrate savings in energy consumption within a year, for example by 30%. The government does not elaborate on how they did this, whether it involves calving or new heat sources. This is the right way to act in a normal economy, ie through economic instruments, not through administrative violence
– the scientist told us.

Faithful civil servants
as highlighted by Prof. Krysiak, the Green Deal is based on a specific ideology that is enthusiastically implemented by EU officials and influential European politicians.
These decisions are in the spirit of Spinelli. After all, the Green Deal is a 1-to-1 translation of the Ventotene Manifesto. When we read the Ventotene Manifesto, we see that the provisions of the EU treaties move in this direction. There will be an asset-owning class and a ruling class. The introduction of administrative coercion will mean that where people cannot afford something, they will end up in the so-called ‘money’ investors, ie the rich companies who will treat it as an investment. A wealthy investor will insulate such a house, but in return there is a mortgage on this house, in proportion to the value invested in the insulation. This means that if the owner does not repay this debt within a certain period, the investor becomes the owner of his home
– warns Prof. Krysiak.
The Green Deal creates mechanisms based on administrative coercion that will leave ordinary people with no choice. There will be a group of wealthy investors who will insulate the buildings, and the owner will have no choice
– said a lecturer at the Warsaw School of Economics. He recalled that we had already seen an attempt to introduce such coercion in Poland.
We remember the discussion about windmills and the proposal that if an investor found a place for a windmill, he could expropriate the owner of the land. Fortunately this has been blocked, but unfortunately they will continue this. This is a good example of how to become an owner. This will also apply to these warmings in connection with the introduced administrative coercion
– said the chairman of the Program Council of the Schuman Institute.
These are very real threats, this is not a fairy tale. All this has its roots in Spinelli’s ideology, which they are now translating into treaty changes. We remember that a few years ago the President of France and the Prime Minister of Italy bowed to Spinelli in front of his monument on the island of Ventotene and said that they would be determined to implement his model. And they do that because they believe in Spinelli and we have to be aware of that. You can’t be naive and think that maybe these are just mistakes, negotiations, games. NO! They will use it effectively, they will create an appearance of negotiations or an appearance of voting methods, they will try to appease and charm, but they want to achieve their goal.
– summarized Prof. Zbigniew Krysiak, adding that a similar fate awaits transporters, who will be forced from day to day to replace their rolling stock with greener equipment. the port will be affected by these changes
There will be a new team of investors willing to invest as they may also benefit from special EU benefits in this area. And until the investor is repaid, the trucking company remains in debt. Such a carrier will have to hand over part of the profit directly to the investor. We will have a system of administratively developed slavery
– said prof. in an interview with wPolityce.pl. Zbigniew Krysiak.
