“The Chambers of Agriculture, OPZZ, Agrounia and Mrs Monika Piątkowska and her trade union are traitors to Polish agriculture. I say this with full responsibility! – said Tomasz Obszański in an interview with the wPolityce.pl portal. The head of the agricultural organization “Solidarity” emphasized that these organizations only wanted to obtain a promise on grain subsidies, which would cover large farms.
During yesterday’s conversations with representatives of agricultural organizations, Donald Tusk did not mention any details.
The conversations were very superficial and perfunctory, contributing nothing to the commonly understood agriculture that we are saving today.
— Tomasz Obszański told the wPolityce.pl portal.
Why are these conversations taking place behind closed doors? Why aren’t they broadcast in some way so that all farmers know what we are talking about? There were several organizations during these talks that were favorable to Prime Minister Tusk and Kołodziejczak. We, as “Solidarity”, were also there and did not leave the conversations, but just to see how things would go.
– summarized the head of NSZZ RI “Solidarność”.

These are traitors!
According to Tomasz Obszański in an interview with wPolityce.pl, representatives of the organizations that took part in the meeting with Tusk were satisfied.
Some agricultural organizations that attended yesterday’s meeting reached an agreement with Prime Minister Tusk. These are the OPZZ, Agrounia and Agricultural Chambers organizations, i.e. grassroots leaders who applaud Prime Minister Tusk and the Civic Platform.
– said Tomasz Obszański. His assessment of such behavior is harsh.
They sold themselves to Tusk for a few cents, they sold the farmers they represented. They sold themselves for a shell of pears, for deplorable subsidies from God
– told us the head of the agricultural “Solidarity”, who doubts that these organizations will continue the protest.
They probably won’t join the protests because they mainly wanted subsidies for the large farms that these organizations represent. Grain subsidies
– said the head of the agricultural sector “Solidarity”.

Tusk – the father of Polish agriculture?
The most disappointing, according to Obszański, was Tusk’s statement that “he can’t do anything”, which, however, was not met with disapproval.
Let me put it this way: it is a sell-out by the leaders who they said it was good that Tusk returned to the country, as Prime Minister he is the father of Polish agriculture
– the head of the agricultural “Solidarity” told us.
Those that were there were mainly this The Chambers of Agriculture, OPZZ, Agrounia and Mrs Piątkowska and her association are traitors to Polish agriculture. I say this with full responsibility! They applauded Tusk yesterday and supported him when he said there was nothing he could do. And he said clearly and very coldly that there was absolutely nothing that could be done about this
– sharply summarizes Obszański, who personally blamed Tusk for the agricultural protests.
Prime Minister Tusk told me that as a representative of “Solidarity” I was responsible for the escalation that took place during the protest in Warsaw. Those farmers who were detained, it’s my fault. Yet we as agricultural ‘Solidarity’ have done everything we can to get everyone out of prison and we have succeeded. Lawyers showed up and helped get everyone out of jail. However, we were blamed for this whole situation because we left the farmers alone. In the meantime we were with the farmers until the end
– said Tomasz Obszański and recalled that he was also injured as a result of incomprehensible police action.
During the interview I was treated with gas that should not have been there at that time and in that place. What happened should not have happened, because we wanted to leave the square in front of the Sejm, but we were stopped by the police and pacified. If Wiejska Street (near the Sejm) had not been blocked, many Protestants would have left
– the chairman of NSZZ RI ‘Solidarity’ has no illusions that if the current Tuka team continues to govern, the Green Deal will be introduced, unlike the embargo on Ukrainian agricultural products.
This entire Green Deal will be implemented, perhaps with a small adjustment in terms of set-aside. This green municipality will continue to exist
– concluded Obszański.
