Former Defense Minister Mariusz Błaszczak recalled how he was criticized for the appearance of weather balloons in Polish airspace. Meanwhile, as objects with Cyrillic inscriptions appeared, silence reigned. The PiS politician compares these two facts and points out the operation of ‘media shields’.
Do you remember when weather balloons flew into Polish airspace when I was Minister of Defense? How much criticism was directed at me then. The opposition demanded my resignation, and the media outdid each other in commenting on how defenseless our airspace was. So what’s happening today?
– said Błaszczak in a recording on the X website.

Media response
Mariusz Błaszczak also drew attention to the attitude of the media of the Third Polish Republic.
