The Moscow City Court rejected the appeal against the decision of the Moscow Basmanny District Court on the choice of preventive measures for the former advisor of the President of Ukraine Alexey Arestovich. As stated in the report, the Moscow City Court approved the decision without changing the appeal.
February 6 Moscow Basmanny District Court in absentia arrested Arestovich. He is accused of calling for terrorist attacks and legitimizing terrorism, as well as spreading misinformation about the Russian military. The detention period will be counted from the moment Arestovich is arrested or transferred to Russian security forces if extradited.
