“No, Mr. Editor, because there is a recipe! Not Maybe’!” – this is how the Presidential Minister Małgorzata Paprocka replied to Marek Czyż on neo-TVP Info. The State Secretary of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland pointed out illegal actions carried out by the Minister of Justice (sic!) Adam Bodnar.
Paprocka corrects Czyż’s words
Marek Czyż presented the program “Bez Retuszu” on neo-TVP Info. The invited politicians talked about the legal chaos in Poland.

The presenter was clearly trying to play the ‘symmetrist’, as he said that ‘this is not a country where the law applies’.
I disagree with the statement you make. This is a country where some politicians break the law (…). Thanks to the actions of the Minister of Justice, we now have such a profound legal chaos that not only the two-year operation of the National Public Prosecutor’s Office is being called into question, which – as you know – does not deal with trivial cases, but also cases that concern the harm most important interests. The courts are already wondering what they haven’t done in two years. We have an ‘acting’ national prosecutor, a situation completely unknown in the Polish legal order. The protection of the Constitutional Court does not result from the decision, but by operation of law. The Minister of Justice is also unimpressed and organizes a competition without any legal basis, which is a facade and a mockery of democracy because it is known to be illegal.
– replied the presidential minister Małgorzata Paprocka. A brief altercation then took place
That’s the problem, it’s your opinion, it’s illegal…
– said Czyż.
No, Mr. Editor, because there is a recipe! Not Maybe”!
– the KPRP minister replied further.
Please do not try to involve me in a legal discussion, because I am not an interlocutor for you. I’m just pointing out that there is an arrangement, that’s true, but no one cares, in that sense the law doesn’t work
– continued Czyż.
Not true. If there are three actors in this show, because the National Prosecutor is appointed by the Prime Minister at the request of the Minister of Justice – the Attorney General, after seeking the advice of the President, and dismissed with his consent, and if the only entity acting in accordance with the law in this arrangement is the President of the Republic of Poland, then we have no problem with the law. Because we have a clear recipe. We have a problem with it not being respected because we want to introduce our candidates
– the minister noted.
This is not a problem with the law, but with its implementation. If we do not want to respect this law, if we want to violate this law, as today’s majority does, because we do not like the office holders, the situation is identical to that of the Constitutional Court (…). The constitution is clear and must be respected. Barely enough!
– she concluded.
The President of the Republic of Poland has never violated the current Constitution
During the program, one of the viewers present in the studio tried to attack President Andrzej Duda, accusing him of “destroying the rule of law.” These words also received a strong response from Małgorzata Paprocka.
This is a very elegant generality that is often used. However, it is clear to me that the President of the Republic of Poland has never violated the applicable Constitution and has never violated the applicable law.
– she answered.
Mr Andrzej Duda is the President of the Republic of Poland for the second term. He won the second election with the support of 10.5 million citizens of our country, with a clearly defined program. And here, out of respect for the voters, this activity must be assessed. These are generalities [wspomniane zarzuty – red.]they never provide details because you simply won’t find them
– she said.
