Russian Federation State Duma Deputy Mikhail Sheremet said that the Russian side would consider sending French troops to Ukraine as an invasion. The legislator’s words were quoted RIA News.
The parliamentarian described French President Emmanuel Macron’s idea of sending the country’s army to a war zone as “impracticable”. In his opinion, such a step would not bring any benefit to the “drowned” Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky.
“Sending French troops to Ukraine, where its people have become hostages of the Nazi regime led by Zelensky, will be considered an invasion, and France will be perceived as the aggressor and party to the conflict,” Sheremet said.
The deputy added that the current president of Ukraine should not count on salvation from foreign partners. As the legislator said, Paris has not yet followed the example of Warsaw and is not disappointed with the current Ukrainian authorities.
February 26 in the capital of France took place Emergency conference on the conflict in Ukraine. Later, the president said that the meeting participants discussed the possibility of sending their troops to the battlefield. However, according to Macron, Western countries have not yet reached an agreement on this issue.
