“There is dissatisfaction among hunters and beekeepers, but there are also miners. Recently, Polish transport workers protested. There are many of these industries and they all have one big problem, namely the directives, regulations and restrictions that come to us from Brussels, that is to say from the EC,” says Ryszard Bartosik, PiS MP and former deputy minister of agriculture. in an interview with the wPolityce.pl portal and rural development.
The politician referred to the great Star March of farmers that took place in Warsaw, dissatisfied with the agricultural policies of the EU and the government of Donald Tusk regarding the grain crisis with Ukraine.

A cup of bitterness
There are plenty of farmers. It is clear that the determination is high, that all limits have already been crossed and that farmers can no longer wait because there are many empty promises. The Minister of Agriculture says we work, we act, we will try on behalf of the government, but it will not bring any results
– said Bartosik.
Yesterday’s meeting of agriculture ministers from all EU countries also had a similar tone: we need to change something, propose something. Farmers can no longer wait because their livelihoods are at stake. They are protesting the Green Deal across Europe, and in Poland this protest is being extended to the influx of cheap, low-quality food of Ukrainian origin. That is why farmers protested all over Poland, and today they are gathering in such large numbers in Warsaw and loudly asking where the government is, where the Prime Minister is. Unfortunately, no one is there and no one talks to them
– he noted.
Today, as informed by PiS MPs conducting a parliamentary intervention at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, documents were classified about the talks with Ukraine. So there is some doubt that talks may not happen.
Not much is happening in this regard, and if any talks do take place, they are conducted in the tone and climate proposed by the European Union, i.e. giving in to Ukrainian pressure and ensuring that agricultural products are open to Poland and other European countries. In fact, these are not goods produced by Ukrainian farmers, but by foreign companies using good quality Ukrainian land. This European trend – total openness to Ukrainian food – is thoughtlessly accepted by the Minister of Agriculture and the Prime Minister, who – as we know – is subservient to the EU and fulfills its obligations to it.
– said Ryszard Bartosik.

A social phenomenon
Together with farmers, miners of the union “Augustus 80”, car carriers and representatives of “grassroots movements” also came to the capital. Bartosik considered whether there was an opportunity to coordinate protest activities from different industries.
For the time being, it happens spontaneously because people simply can’t handle it anymore. I think if this continues, there will be coordination between different industries. One particular phenomenon is that for the first time in many years, when it comes to farmers, there is a great understanding among city dwellers. They understand us, they understand farmers. They want good quality food from a reliable source, and that’s what our farmers provide
– he said.
There is dissatisfaction among hunters and beekeepers, but there are also miners. Recently, Polish transport workers protested. There are plenty of these industries and they all have one big problem, namely the directives, regulations and restrictions that come to us from Brussels, that is to say from the European Commission. Either it closes mines, preventing trucking companies from making a profit, or it prevents farmers from producing

In this context, Bartosik drew attention to the ties of the current Polish government with the politicians of the Eurocracy.
This is all happening in the EU, and the current December 13 government is dependent on Berlin and Brussels and unconsciously favors all these EU activities and programs.
– he emphasized.
