Armenian opposition announced Yerevan’s neutrality plans 19:35

Opposition Armenian MP and leader of the “Honor is Mine” group Hayk Mamijanyan shared information that the country’s new constitution will enshrine the status of a neutral power. The politician’s words are quoted by the publication “Sputnik Armenia”.

According to Mamijanyan, the basic law may prohibit the country from entering into any alliance or alliance. The MP also expressed his hope that the country will not be able to complete the Constitutional amendment process initiated by the current Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

He emphasized that rumors about Armenia’s non-aligned status “hang in the air”.

Before that the Armenian Apostolic Church in the name Prime Minister Pashinyan’s highly dubious attempt to change the country’s constitution.

Pashinyan last week statedHe stated that peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan is “unthinkable” right now.
