Politician Boris Nadezhdin failed to return more than 1.1 million rubles illegally received to the election fund on time, and therefore a report of administrative violations may be drawn up against him. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation Nikolai Bulaev at a meeting of the commission. TASS.
He explained that after the rejection of Nadezhdin’s registration as a candidate for President of the Russian Federation, this money was supposed to be returned within 10 days, but this did not happen.
“Therefore, as I understand it, we will have to draw up a protocol against administrative violation or Boris Borisovich [Надеждина]or to the financial ombudsman,” Bulaev said.
A representative of the CEC said that at the time Nadezhdin refused to register, there were 1 million 345 thousand rubles in his election account, 5 thousand rubles remained in the account, all other funds were withdrawn.
