The United States Senate this week backed a final vote on an aid bill for Israel and Ukraine that does not include provisions to tighten controls on the US southern border. This is due to the publication on the Senate website.
Senators agreed to limit debate on the bill to 30 hours. The project envisages allocating $95 billion in financial aid, $60.06 billion to Ukraine and $14.1 billion to Israel. 66 senators voted for it, 33 opposed it. It is stated that the final vote may be held on Wednesday.
If the Senate approves this bill, it will go to the House of Representatives for consideration.
