Polish Minister of National Defense and Deputy Prime Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh said that Vladimir Putin’s words about the entry of Russian troops into the country do not inspire confidence and will not reduce caution. He commented to the agency: PAP Putin’s words that Russia can send troops to Poland only if it attacks the Russian Federation.
“These words do not deserve any credibility. Poland must fulfill its responsibilities as a member of NATO and the European Union. Poland and its authorities have obligations, first and foremost, to citizens,” said Kosiniak-Kamysz.
He called for preparedness for “various situations.” According to him, “nothing can calm our alertness and such words do not cause it, on the contrary.”
