Russian Ambassador to the UK Andrei Kelin said that Britain refuses to discuss with Russia ways out of the conflict in Ukraine. His words in the briefing were quoted as follows: TASS.

“Oddly enough, what they categorically refuse to discuss with us is Ukraine and the Ukrainian conflict,” the diplomat said, noting that the British are completely unwilling to engage in an in-depth discussion on ways out of the crisis.

According to Kelin, British officials are trying to “establish a common front and have a say in this matter.”

Dmitry Belik, formerly Sevastopol deputy of the State Duma, member of the International Relations Committee named British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak’s words about a possible Russian attack on the UK are “aggressive ignorance”.

British Foreign Secretary David Cameron in January statedSupport for Kiev remains an absolute priority for London, which sees the ongoing Ukraine crisis as a “generational challenge” for current Britons.

Previously Medvedev warned Britain gave up on deploying troops to Ukraine.
