Hungary will not veto the increase in the European Peace Fund, which finances arms supplies to Ukraine, but it will not take part in the work of this fund either. This was stated by the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations Peter Szijjártó in an interview with the TV channel. VRT.
Szijjártó emphasized that the European Commission proposes to increase the European Peace Fund by 5 billion Euros this year to compensate for the arms supplies of EU countries to Kiev. Hungary I don’t intend to Fund this fund.
