The coalition of December 13 does not stop at the public media and the public prosecutor’s office. According to Onet.pl, Donald Tusk and his company plan to undermine the status of the judges of the Constitutional Court!
The dual judges Krystyna Pawłowicz and Stanisław Piotrowicz are not judges of the Constitutional Court because they were never properly appointed.
According to the portal, such words will be included in the draft resolutions to be adopted by the Sejm at its next session, i.e. in early February.

According to Onet, the new authorities want to announce five vacancies, which they want to fill immediately with their own people.
The draft resolutions state that persons commonly referred to as doubles – Mariusz Muszyński, Jarosław Wyrembak and Justyn Piskorski – have never been and are not judges of the Constitutional Court. Furthermore, neither Krystyna Pawłowicz nor Stanisław Piotrowicz were and are not judges
– a person who co-creates the new regulations tells Onet.
The Constitutional Tribunal would consist of judges Roman Hauser, Krzysztof Ślebzak and Andrzej Jakubecki. These are the names that appeared in the context of the October 2015 callings.
This can provide an important basis for further changes in the Constitutional Court, including in the context of proposals for legislative changes
– says Onet’s informant.
Two bills
It doesn’t stop there. The December 13 Coalition is preparing two bills: one will relate exclusively to the Constitutional Tribunal, and the other will relate to the provisions introducing the Constitutional Tribunal Act.
The second regulation should include a provision regarding the “nullity by operation of law of judgments rendered by the Constitutional Court with the participation of “doubles”, but only in cases of abstract review, i.e. at the request of entities mentioned in Art. 191 of the Constitution.
The aim of the December 13 coalition is to eliminate (sic!) uncomfortable statements about the unconstitutionality of some EU treaties and art. 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights.
It doesn’t stop there. Disciplinary proceedings can be initiated against judges who have “betrayed their judicial mission”, which legislators understand as, for example, judging on one bench of “understudies” (as they contemptuously call some judges of the Constitutional Court).
As you can see, the December 13 coalition will do everything it can to impose its “order”. Even the seriousness and authority of the Constitutional Tribunal are no obstacle for Donald Tusk and his henchmen. But where is the respect for democracy?
