According to Klimov, these centers will become operational after their legal status is arranged in Argentina, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, United Arab Emirates, Serbia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
It has been reported that it will be possible to obtain the necessary documents from the information and consultancy center as soon as possible, without waiting in line for an appointment at the consulate.
Before that, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia approved Opening of the Russian consulate in Kapan, near the Azerbaijani border.
“It will be difficult for me to say at what stage the consulate opening of the Russian Federation is at now. Various countries are interested in opening consulates in Syunik. Iran has opened up, France has announced such an intention,” said Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
According to Mirzoyan, the opening of consulates of some countries in the Syunik region contains “political messages”.
